Today on the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord, the Catholic Sentinel, Oregon’s Catholic Newspaper printed an article about my climb to the top of Mt. Kilimanjaro this month. It appears on their homepage as well as their print issue. This is important on a number of fronts. One, obviously, is to highlight the expedition as a vehicle to raise awareness and funds of our Dominican Student Brothers in formation. Second, that it’s getting wider visibility outside of our parish.
